Get out your fishing gear and reel in the "Big Catch". It's time for our annual fishing derby.

There will be awards for most fish caught, biggest fish, and the best story for the one that got away.

There is no cost for this event and is open to all scouts, family and we encourage you to bring a friend to get them "hooked" on scouting. Worms will be provided. Scouts should wear their Class B shirts.

Please note, this is a public lake so adults do require a fishing license if they plan to fish. Illinois fishing licenses can be bought at Walmart and most sporting good stores or online.

Awards will be handed out around 11 a.m. and scouts will all receive a cold treat.
